(I hope it's okay that I post Kellyn here? xD )
Kellyn lounged in his bed, Charms textbook propped up in front of him, pages flipping on their own whenever he was ready to continue reading. He jotted down notes in his neat handwriting, underlining certain spells that he might need in the future. Some were simple, things such as more advanced heating and cooling spells, and others more difficult, like charming pictures to move. That was something that Kellyn hoped he'd be able to master this year. He'd make a list of potions to make this year as well, after he was finished with his charms notes.

(It's fine; my bad of not adding him to the list of inhabitants. I'll do that asap once I get done with some other things.)
"Hello there." Edward said, nodding to Kellyn as he walked into the dorm with a stack of textbook in hands, a suitcase trailing behind him. Quickly finding his bed, he set his books down heavily before dropping his bag as the suitcase's pace came to a halt. It was then did he take a better look at Kellyn. "Were we roomates before?" he inquired as he tilted his head to the side, pushing his glasses up to get a better look. "My apologizes, but you didn't seem familiar. I had to ask."

"Ah, I was homeschooled for a few years." Kellyn admitted. "My brother and I transferred in this year. I'm Kellyn Bowers." Kellyn introduced himself as he put his text book down so he could inspect the boy in front of him.

"Ah, I see. I'm Edward Harrell; it's a pleasure to meet you." He nodded and smiled towards Kellyn as he offered his hand to the other boy. Transferred students were rare, but most of them were often more talented than others would expect; the boy would naturally fit the category, especially since he was sorted into Ravenclaw. It was since a long time ago Edward's habit to stay on good terms with talented people, regardless of background. He was determined that at least he and the boy would be good room mates, if not friends.

Kellyn shook Edward's hand with a strong but not overpowering grip. He hoped Edward would be a friend, but even if he wasn't, Kellyn would do his best to be on good terms. Roommates, and all that. "What year are you?" Kellyn asked Edward, wondering if they'd have any classes together.

"I'm in seventh year right now. How about you?" Edward asked as he returned the handshake, released Kellyn's hand, and then sat down on his bed. "What electives are you taking? Have you joined any of the clubs yet?"

"Fifth year." Kellyn replied. He pulled out his schedule to look over classes. "My electives are Divination and Arithmancy, and for clubs, I was thinking Ancient Studies and Magical Theory." He knew that all of the classes and extra 'clubs' would involve lots of time studying. He also knew that both Divination and Arithmancy related to the future and how to read it, and that was something that fascinated Kellyn.

"You seem to have an interest in reading the future?" Edward asked as he raised an eyebrow. "Both Divination and Arithmancy are hard subjects to grasp at times. The future is, after all, so uncertain and mysterious." he remarked as he leaned onto his nightstand. "But I suppose that's exactly what makes it so fascinating. Good choice with the clubs though. I'm in Magic Theory myself; perhaps we could have some discussions on topics related in the future."

"Divination was the one class I wasn't able to learn anything about in my tutoring..." Kellyn explained a bit. He knew it would be a challenge, possibly, to keep up, but he would do it. "Is Magical Theory a good club?" The younger Ravenclaw boy asked curiously.

"Well, I suppose that it would depend on your definition on 'good' or 'bad.' But what I can say about the club is that you get to meet a lot of interesting people there, some who may be passionate about the things that you care for, others who may hold drastically different values. Either way, it's a good experience to have." Edward replied thoughtfully. "And don't worry; the first few years of Divination is fairly easy, so I'm sure you'll be able to catch up fast. It doesn't get too hard until later in the fifth year."
